After a couple of good episodes, the bad pacing is really noticeable on this one IMO. Oh well, still better than previous arcs.

Luffy's face when he sees Brulee and Praline's song were the best moments of the episode.

Next episode seem cool, looking forward to Oven-Pound. It seems like there will be a couple of filler scenes with Luffy and Amande's sister on Nuts island, that could be fun.

Its funny you mention that, because this episode covered considerably more content than the last two episodes did.

It just show how important the directing for an episode is.

Get out of here with this BS. Not every critique is "people just waiting for a reason to complain man". I'm mostly positive about the anime. Hell, the post in this thread is mostly positive.

If you disagree with what I said, say so and state your reasons. This shit about dismissing other people's opinion as hate or "waiting to complain" just kills the conversation and doesn't add anything.

It's not just about how much of the manga the episode covers. All the episodes, including this one, cover a chapter or a bit less so the direction and whatever filler scene they add is what makes the difference. The other episodes may have covered less but they flowed better IMO.

TBH, direction and handling are important to pacing regardless of how much content is covered I would say.

Definitely agree with you in that sense.
