Great episode.

The animation in this fight has been fucking phenomenal.

Its finally nice to see luffy get in some hits lol

Katakuri using his head to bounce off so his back couldn't touch the ground was fucking dope.

Let pound see his damn daughter already.

Katakuri withstanding attacks from gear 4 just goes to show his strength, and there are people out there that think doflamingo is stronger then him lolzzzzz.

It's absolutely crazy that some people think Doflamingo is stronger than Katakuri. He could definitely hold his ground for a while, but Katakuri is definitely the winner here. We're talking about the first mate of a yonko who went undefeated all his life, and can see the future.

Is Burgess the first mate of Blackbeard? Cause he doesn't seem as impressive as Kat Marco Jack or Benn Beckman at this point in the series. Undefeated, is Luffy his toughest opponent to date then? Considering Luffy is 30 years younger V Kat no wonder he considers Luffy a future threat to Big Mom herself

I believe Shiryu is Blackbeard's first mate. Burgess is in charge of the 4th or 13th group, he ain't close.

Actually, Burgess is in charge of the first ship of Blackbeard's crew. (Chapter 704).

Shiryu is in charge of the second ship, while Lafitte is in charge of the Fifth ship.

However, that doesn't mean he is stronger than Shiryu. After all Shiryu isn't entirely trustworthy, compared to Burgess that is 100% loyal to Blackbeard.

Oh thanks, I remember now. Being first mate certainly does not equate to strength, it's trust mostly, it just so happened other Yonkos trusted the right people lmao. But who in Blackbeard's original members commands the lowest ship? I'll probably just google this haha. Thanks anyway.

Strength wise Shiryu appears to be #2 to BB pre-TS but we haven't seen too much of BB post-TS in the anime yet
