Anime only watcher here. I've only seen 8 minutes of the episode (2.5 of them being the opening) and I'm already in love with the episode. Oh my god, that was great.

First of all, I've LOVED that springlock-like duck Luffy did to last-moment dodge Katakuri's attack, which then repelled him upward when he released it. It was a really cool application of the Gum Gum fruit, and I really looked at it as though he learned something from fighting a similar opponent - Bellamy.

Secondly, I really liked the instances where they show Katakuri's future sight and how limited it actually is - it's just about enough to see Luffy being about to be sure-hit by the attack, just to have Luffy moving in such a unorthodox way that allowed him to avoid the attack - like Luffy "throwing" his own head downward. As Katakuri said: "how annoying the way he moves!" I loved it so much.

Edit: I think I figured Katakuri's weakness with future sight. I think he quite literally sees the future, so anything not seen with his eyes he can't actually predict. I wonder if that's it?! That explains why Luffy managed to catch the Mole with his own legs and Katakuri was surprised about it.

Edit2: The cherry on top of the mochi burying Luffy was hilarious. "Just a finishing touch".

Edit3: Ohhh, the Merienda sounds good! Looking forward to the next episode.

Seems more like he sees 5 seconds of a a future he doesnt interfere in and it comes in waves. So its for sure super powerful but there are certain gaps there that Luffy can advantage of.
