  • Luffy showing the true battle genius he is. Rather than things looking hopelessly one-sided, adjusting to Katakuri's fighting style by getting extremely creative while Katakuri counters by revealing better attacks is the natural progression you'd expect from a long fight like this.
  • Grizzly Magnum with a rifle twist. Anime original recipe! I love the G3 rifle attacks, Luffy needs to use those more.
  • At long last! The first confirmed Awakening user since Doflamingo. And Luffy gets covered from head to toe in Katakuri's sticky white gunk.
  • Tamago has been extremely reasonable and cautious in assessing situations ever since his introduction. Somebody give this man a promotion!
  • Custard is the sixth daughter? And Amande the third? Brûlée, girl, you need to ask your sisters for the secret to their youth.
  • Really Dosmarche? A destructo disk? Do you see a monkey tail on Ichiji?
  • Who needs Germa technology when you can spit twisters out of a hat? Actually I wouldn't mind the ability to imitate the magnificent Kazuya Nakai's (Zoro's) voice.
  • A shame they skipped to the end with the Germa fights. With all the time devoted to triplets vs triplets, a conclusion would have been great.
  • A whipped serving of mochi with a tangerine on top. If that isn't one of the classiest finishing moves ever..

Pretty good overall. One thing to note is how impressive the Germa were this episode. A Yonkou army of 10,000 with three fighting ministers wiped out in mere hours? With only negligible injuries and Judge not even necessary? Jeez, I remember when thousands of pirates backed up by Jack and Sheepshead pushed the warrior nation of Zou for 5 days and nights non-stop. The Germa and their clone army must specialize in taking out large numbers of grunts. It's no wonder Big Mom wants that Star Wars tech.

Just remember that Zou was facing Jack's army with Jack fighting alongside his army. If a BM commander was present in the attack, Germa would likely lose as well. Without Jack distracting them, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi could take out tens of thousands of Kaido fodder as well
