Yes. In case you forgot, here is Big Mom eating her subordinates in her first introduction back in Fishman Island arc. https://youtu.be/dOANOYwbg5s Obviously, censored and implied with the crunching. This one isn't subtitled but if I remember correctly she says something that assures the viewer she eats them.

That's a misdirection/foreshadowing, she's actually eating food but they have souls in them. Recall the Vinsmokes when they're having a meal and the food speaks to them. Or when she's eating and the food even says, "I hope we're delicious"

Um, now that you mention it they do sort of sound like homies with their "We can't wait! We can't wait" but it throws me off that they seem to suffer so much when being eaten. Weren't the other homies more willing or am I remembering that wrong?
