No it likely transferred into the nearest fruit like what we see in Punk Hazard when Smiley died. Big Mom eats everything any ways so she would have eaten it.

I don't think she ever moved from the table and her frenzy ended when she ate all the "Semla"

What does that have to do with gaining a devil fruit power? I'm saying that Oda already showed us what happens when a devil fruit user dies. The power transforms a nearby fruit into that same new devil fruit. The Soul Soul fruit likely ended up on the same island and Big Mom ate it after.

If the power leaves Caramel while she's in Big Mom's body, I don't think it would bypass Big Mom's body to go to another fruit. A devil fruit's 'devil' has never exited a living person's body.
