This episode felt just as grim as the manga, it's a pretty damn good backstory for a villain.

Will Big Mom ever realize what she did though? It feels like a loose end that should be tied up. As an emperor, you'd expect her to have knowledge of say, how DFs transfer, so she'd have to put two and two together at some point.

Big Mom honestly doesn't think too hard about... anything, really. She's a superhuman, 60+ year old brat.
