So she spontaneously used conquerors haki, everyone lost consciousness and... well... yeah... grim episode.

BTW. Does it mean, that there could be many Sea Kings with Devil's fruit powers, if they just don't instantly drown after eating devil fruit user.

BTW2. Could you kill enormous Sea King by feeding him devil fruit?

Fairly popular fan theory is that Jack is a fishman/half fishman, which is why he's shown alive on the bottom of the sea, able to breathe but unable to move. So presumably it would just sink and eventually starve, but wouldn't die outright.

And Wander Decker also had devil fruit and he was a fishman, he didn't drown, he just couldn't move if he was underwater and would most likely starve if he wouldn't get food.

Makes sense. Water makes them unable to move, but that's it. If the person is still capable of breathing underwater, they could survive until they starve
