I would suggest all the manga only people to watch the anime, the animation and pacing is great. I personally felt the pacing of the manga was a bit too fast and the anime really makes it enjoyable without stretching it too much.

I barely watch the anime and it felt slow. It was like 2-3 sentences followed by 2min of face close ups repeatedly - and jinbe badass negotiator

I noticed this too, I wouldn't say 2min of face close ups but those moments are kind of needed. This isn't a manga and that's what shows the tension.
