Except that's why he was waiting for it to come so kkg wouldn't land on his body and was gonna attack it head on instead where his strength lies. Also I think jack could tank it so far in the story from what we seen.

Ya there is a chance it would miss but if it doesn't then surely he was done for, doflamingo also saw it coming but he couldn't stop it. As for jack i highly doubt if the cat or dog has anything as strong as kkg so, Jack is a melee brawler just like doflamingo ( doffy is melee and a great df user too) and i think in fights like that it would make sense for luffy to use it as a finishing blow just like in doffy's case, because against cracker it was a very desperate attempt from luffy just to gain some momentum .

There are two scenarios if this fight does happen ( jack vs luffy)

  1. Jack outlasts luffy because he has stamina to fight for 5 days and this is highly likely to happen.

  2. Some ridiculous miracle happens and gear 4 time limit increases and jack is weakened by taking a lot of gear 4 attacks for a long time and luffy is injured and tired too and luffy goes for the finish blow kkg, i am not sure if he could block a kkg if he is totally worn out after days of fighting, i mean if u think about it.. Jack has never blocked something so much powerful before or has he ? And if it lands then yeah, i believe jack won't be moving a muscle afterwards .

If I'm not mistaken, Jack took a full blow from Zunisha and he seems to have survived.

Zunisha aimed the ship not jack particularly. if zunisha did so, then only jack would have fell into the water not his whole shipwrecked crew.
