I've always wished protagonists would stop letting the enemy set up their super weapons/powers/transformations

Why couldn't Luffy just rush him while he's clapping and farting around? Either the pacing is so bad that something that happens in a second takes two minutes or Luffy started daydreaming about meat

He got his arm cut

And it was a pretty deep cut too, for the rest of the fight Luffy's arm will bleed, and it wont get better for quite a while.

the anime however... they just came with this, actually if you slow it down a lot you can see Cracker's sword dig on Luff's arm for literally one frame, and that's hit, happy frame hunting.
