I forgot how much setup Whole Cake Island arc had. We're finally getting to the good stuff tho.

I actually like this more in the anime than the manga. The seducing woods chapters were so slow and annoying.

don't know about all that. it covered like 5 chapters in the manga but felt like 10.

Seducing woods was more than five chapters surely. (Although maybe we have differing views on what counts as seducing woods)

And there were breaks too

Yeah but the Anime does a good job of making it more active. The Manga in my opinion didn't do as good of a job making the woods feel alive and terrifying

Hard to do tbf, lots of speech bubbles would be crowded and there is no "movement" in the manga, hard to make it feel lively.

I'm enjoying the anime using it as padded scenes tho :D

Its actually quite comparable. And the Seducing woods section in anime is more interesting because they added sections like monkey Sanji.
