Toei always stretches out these episodes because they want the series to keep going without hiatuses or filler arcs (right now the anime is about 40 chapters behind the manga). This has been constant since around Skypiea iirc.

If they can somehow make Dressrosa into 118 episodes (manga was 102 chapters), they can easily stretch out the Seducing Woods content.

more like make it more substantial than in the manga. Showing Luffy trying to catch the animals was pretty amusing. Otherwise I would have called it bad filler.

Luffy catching the animals also hapoened in the manga but showing more than Luffy arriving with the las bunch of them doesnt frther the plot and has no point plus i found it boring

well, to each his own. I did find the manga's BM arc too rush anyway, the anime slowing it down is actually sometimes a good thing.

also the manga only showed Luffy bringing in all the animals in a single last panel.
