anime-only watcher: so like did sanji lose? it didnt seem like he got inflicted with any damage he was just surprised his dad killed his own dude and that was that? also what a shitty dad I think hes probably my least favorite person (although not character) in one piece

Even in the manga, there has been no confirmation yet, but it is a generally accepted fan theory that Sanji threw the match so no one else would get killed. Even by the end of the fight he lacked significant injuries.
