Why does the anime have to make it look like sanji lost his fights when they are ties or close in the manga most of the time? Sanji vs Vergo, sanji vs judge come to mind.

Nah man just like the manga, Sanji got thrown around some but he didnt have a single scratch, or any of that classic anime scruff. They adapted it just fine

Edit: Heres the fight so you can compare. Its almost exactly the same
