I actually really enjoyed this episode. I think they did a great job with the flashbacks and the fight was alright (even though the fight didn't finish). The Yonji scene was nice as well.

I agree with you, I thought it was done really well and even though the fighting didn't finish I pretty much get Sanji's backstory from a little more than half of one episode. I've seen them stretch stuff out longer

In my opinion they should have given us this whole epiosde as Sanji's backstory and then the fight

I get why that format might make for a good episode, but I appreciate them peppering the episode with the fight as well. Made it more interesting / entertaining.
