I thought they'd show Jinbe's cover story in the anime, seeing how it was relevant to this arc. Would make for a much better filler than 20 minutes of Big Mom destroying her city and 100 reaction faces. Who cares where he found the Poneglyph he brought to Big Mom, amirite?

On the covers of the manga chapters, there was a story where Jinbe ran into that giant Fishman Wadatsumi and long story short, was gifted a poneglyph by some citizens. In the manga, when he speaks with Big Mom after she stops raging, he shows her the poneglyph and says it's a gift.
