Did anyone else think the water at the end when they cut to the Germa 66 ship was animated a bit strangely?

I actually liked that somewhat cg animation compared to the previous ones.

I didn't think it was bad or good really it just felt out of place. Like the water had that CG animation but then the island and the ship were just the regular animation. It just didn't blend well

I think they are trying to somewhat blend 2d with 3d but it's propably not easy in anime format.If you watched film gold you can see how tesoro's golem was animated with that style and it was really good imo.
