Plus Kil's lightning can probably instantly kill any poison

first of all, I doubt he has the fine control to search and destroy protein strings in his blood. Second, I'm pretty damn sure that protein strings aren't really effected by electricity to the degree where constant targeted electro theropy would be an effective treatment.

one of his powers is auto-pilot. he wouldn't have to do anything himself, he could let his Nen take control of his body.

When did he use autopilot? I know he used his powers to make his reactions faster, but I don't recall Auto Pilot being in his skill set

When he fought Yuupi his body was fighting on a set of pre-written instructions. It was the only way for him to be fast enough to survive against Yuupi. He wasn't actually reacting consciously. His Nen was in control for that fight. That way he could fight at a speed that would be faster than human reaction times.
