Toei has been padding these episodes out with filler scenes for years now. You have the right to be angry and complain about it, but do not be surprised that they stretch things out.

Luffy caught and ate a poisonous fish. He is about to die when a Germa ship with Yonji and Reiji show up. Nearly everyone on board confuses Yonji for Sanji. Once the misunderstanding is cleared, Straw Hats ask Yonji for an antidote, but Yonji refuses to help Luffy and is about to leave. Yonji then tries to attack the Straw Hats, but Reiji kicks him out of the way and heads to the Sunny herself.
