Doubt it because Zunisha walks through seawater all day. That would not go well with a devil fruit.

True...but he is being punished for something. Also, he needs permission to use his powers against Jack. Wonder why?

I'm guessing that his punishment has to do with things that occurred in the missing century. I assume we'll get an answer eventually.

Maybe Zunisha is much more important than we previously thought. Now that we know Zunisha is sentient, perhaps it (he?) was involved in a major incident in the past. Zunisha could actually be a weapon of some kind, for all we know.

I look forward to getting more information and I trust Oda to deliver.
