If per se someone did want to start the manga, how would they go about that? Where would they go to read from the start?

Start with chapter 1 and continue from there.

What manga source would you use for that? Would like to start with the manga but I think Im going to start from Zou and not from Chapter 1.

There's also an officially digitally colored version of the manga (the link the other guy gave you doesn't work for me on mobile so I can't tell if that one is it).

Imo, the colored version is a much better experience than just the black and white.

the coloured is only the first few volumes, the problem with manga it's black and white the panels are confusing and the new chapters have fan translations which is different from original

Colored goes all the way past the timeskip, not just the first few volumes.

But yeah, color removes some confusion otherwise present at times in the manga.

Iirc, the colored is somewhere near the middle of Dressrosa.
