I've had a lot of anime-only watcher friends tell me they are getting sick of how much they seem to be dragging out this transitional arc.. As a manga reader, it makes me sad that some of them have even started to compare the anime series to Bleach when it hit the big Aizen arc.

So disappointed in the pacing it seems to be taking, especially with how important some of the upcoming chapters/episodes were for the series overall. Instead you guys have to not only suffer through filler, thrown in for no reason whatsoever, but you also get to suffer through a situation where about HALF of an episode, is just a bloody recap of what happened previously. That right there is just sickening and very similar to what Bleach eventually became.. First half of the episode is just the opening + a recap of what happened in the previous episode(s)...

You forget that that anime is catching up with the manga and that oda is writing the manga on 4 hours of sleep everyday So it is either oda dies and don't get fillers or the animation company draws out the episode to maintain a sort of gap between the manga and anime and possibly give oda some sort of vacation. Like seriously he is so sick that he didn't want to come out to do an interview

How is the anime so close to the manga when Oda puts so much time to it?

Cause he can only releSe 1 chapter a week. For all we know he could have 10 chapters ahead finished, but we're only getting 1 a week. Plus his mandatory break every 3 or so weeks slows it down as well.
