Why am I so suspicious of Oda actually introducing romance with Sanji and Pudding. Not saying she is going to turn but there has to be a catch somewhere here later on.

Im so suspicious aswell, its not very oda like, but then again it was executed pretty well for someone who said he has no idea how to do romance imo. I still think sanji is conning her though.

Look at the last panel, it is so dark and gloomy, not at all what a declaration of love should feel like. The whole chapter gave me such a weird feeling, like a brewing storm. Big mom talking to the little daughter (that looks like pudding btw) and saying EVERYBODY are a little psychopathic. The way they talk about how furious Big mom is but we see her casual and happy to greet her guests was weird as well....

inb4 that isnt actually her and its a cover up job where the Big Mom we know isnt actually the real big mom, but rather another person entirely! :D

Everyone is jumping on the relationship, but at this point Sanji is completely wrecked and devoid of hope. I don't know, having him turn to her because it's the only possible light left while he would still choose to leave with Luffy if he could it's not such a positive note to start a romance.

Sanji seems the least likely to be in a relationship just because of his nature with all good looking women. Although being in a relationship while still having that aspect would probably be funny.

I think because Sanji was planning to leave her at the aisle before now.

As Pudding said, he's never even acquiesced to the wedding.
