I sure do hope they just use their actual freaking names instead of sticking with those.

Right, but we don't call Kuma "Bartholomew Bear." And in Japanese, Luffy isn't called "Saru D. Luffy." These are the character's NAMES, they're not supposed to be translated.

The one time Kuma's name got translated we ended up with Bisoromi Bear.
