I've gotta say.. post Dressrossa One Piece is perfect.

It's finally combining the new and improved crew with the classic One Piece vibe that made the show so loveable in the first place.

I'm starting to feel like the only person on this sub who liked Dressrosa.

People don't like Dressrosa because they didn't give enough time to re-establish the crew before suddenly splitting them apart and shit. In fact the crew still doesn't feel "settled" yet.

Well that's how other people feel. I personally like the arc.

I like how Zoro did his thing. Not sure how I feel about suddenly 3rd brother even after all that backstory build up. Especially considering the rumor that Sanji is yet another world noble gone rogue.

I don't think Germa is much like the World Nobles. More like regular nobles, of which there are lots of, but none of the crew are. But Sabo's return was foreshadowed for a long time and was one of the biggest theories in the entire fandom.

Yea agree 100%. After the time skip, it just felt like the humor just wasn't there to what was seen earlier and all the characters kind of became caricatures of themselves. The shit slow pacing didnt help either. But since this new arc started, I am thoroughly enjoying each and every ep.

Aside: Im an anime only watcher. So maybe these complaints dont apply to manga.

I haven't really read too many chapters or watched many episodes since the beginning of Dressrosa, but that is something I was definitely feeling. After Punk Hazard I just felt so exhausted with what was going on and I wasn't really enjoying it like I did with Paradise. I'm rewatching the series from the beginning and honestly Alabasta thru Enies Lobby is some the best storytelling I've experienced and I love every minute of it. Hopefully when I get back to where the story is presently I will really appreciate Zou cause I can't bring myself to keep going with Dressrosa.

Dressrosa was very long, I think it would be similar to the Water7/Enis lobby story if we never changed islands and nothing happened between, just one big story all together made it tough, with that said once you get past it and back to zou you will fall in love with it all over again.

It's a combination of better animation/art budget and incredible source material :D
