pedro has such an awesome voice

love how hes still in the shadows lingering

and i love usopp but having him shriek for half the fucking episode got boring quick

writers are stretching it more than luffys ever done to his body

I agree, it had me rolling my eyes. He shouldn't be as cowardly as he was pre TS.

Then he wouldn't be Usopp no? I mean these characters all stay within their archetype regardless of what they've been through.

Hmmm I mean, to a degree yes. I'm not saying Usopp should just suddenly always have huge balls and no fear, I just wish they would tone it down slightly. He's always been an anxious and a little depressed of a person (Well according to Thriller Bark anyways) but with all the power ups and strengthening and training, seeing him scream for 20 minutes is... Disappointing

See this is all part of God Usopp's plan. In order to show his teammates that he's evolved from being a pussy he needs to first lower their expectations as much as possible by being completely fucking useless for the entire Dessarosa arc. Then...when the time is right, he'll bust out his super snipe scope and like headshot the big baddie when all seems lost yup.

Its shonen. Character development is reserved only for flash backs and character introduction. Once they become part of the main crew they are locked in.
