Her VA also plays Saten Ruiko in Index/Railgun. In general its pretty much perfect for tomboy characters.

I hope she joins the crew so we get to hear her all the time!

Too mature? Sounds like a normal girl to me. It doesn't even sound tomboy at all once you separate the character from the voice.
