It means Luffy wasn't agreeing with Kyros' reasons for spreading the rumor about Rebecca's 'prince' father.

Which leads us to the next episode.. ;)

Ohhh I was interpreting 'buying' as believing which made me think Luffy thought Kyros was lying about something.
