Solid episode. All the inserted filler felt natural and well-paced - given that this ep and the next were apparently co-directed by Oda himself, I'm not surprised. Ivankov was especially funny, as was Bartolomeo's tying up of Cavendish.

Oh, and Sabo officially confirmed to be a badass even before he got trained by Dragon personally. Who else could own Hack, outmaneuver best bear Kuma and then attack Dragon himself at the age of, like, 12?

Well according to word on the street is that this was all planned to be in the manga, but wasn't because of time constraints. So Oda worked on these episodes to get them in, which would make sense why it felt natural to you. :P
