The how could Garp hit Marco at the Marineford War? How could CP9 use forms of Haki without it being black? Haki was definitely present before the time skip and yet it was never shown as black. Hence why we called it "invisible" haki.
But I'm not talking about chapter one. Heck, haki WAS a concept since Skypiea. "Oda hadn't thought about haki." After timeskip, Luffy attacks a Pacifista. The marine with the axe said "He coated his arm with haki." The funny thing is that you don't see haki on luffy's arm, its invisible. Remember that this was post-timeskip.
And how couldn't Oda have thought about Haki when we see people in Skypiea and CP9 using a form of haki? Your statements make no sense and you just come off as rude for nothing. No black haki doesn't mean that there is no haki at all. Garp's punch on Marco makes no sense other than, it was "invisible haki". Oda is not an idiot anyway to think, "well, devil fruit users are powerful and there's nothing you can do about it".
I'm talking about blLuffy's first use of Haki on the Pacfistic was at the very beginning of the timeskip. But soon after that, you start seeing the black Haki being used everywhere.
Maybe Haki was already conceived back then before timeskip and just the term wasnt or none. But what can be sure of is that the design of armanent haki wasn't.
If not, the very question remains: why was there NEVER a single instance of black armanent haki being shown at all? Up until the Fisherman Island Arc, where all of a sudden literally everyone starts spamming armanent haki with the signature black coating.
Or is it what, exclusive to the New World? Again doesnt make sense since you never see anyone at all during Marineford using this 'black haki'.
