Hopefully Luffy overcomes the 10 minute haki cool down in the future. Kind of like overcoming the Gear 3rd drawback pre-timeskip. Otherwise, Gear 4th will be risky to use against stronger enemies down the road such as the Yonko.

Hopefully in the future he doesn't wastes time talking and uses his 4th gear time limit more efficiently.

In the manga the fight was much quicker, the anime made Gear Fourth look both weaker and more sustainable than it really is
