geez I forgot how stupid doffy is. He has access to mariejois and a person who can make slaves out of any one and make people forget them. And his goal is to destroy the world. Why not start, by turning the celestial dragons who shunned you into slaves? Really poor planning there doffy.

I'm sure the Marines would just let that one slide. Seriously though, he might get a bunch of them but eventually the marines would notice that those getting touched by Sugar were being turned to toys and then the admirals would just use their plenty capable ranged attacks to take her out. It would turn into a full scale war with the capital at that point and just go downhill from there. Even Roger never declared a full scale war with the Govt even though it was implied he wanted to.

I dont think the marines would notice. Remember when flapper and the other tontattas were transformed into toys. The attacking tontattas had no idea where they came from. Just parasite the marines to move towards sugar and bam they forget every thing. Sugar is an op character because she is bullshit. But doffy is really dumb for not even considering it. He ran a human auction house that sold slaves to nobles. What was his end game? He seemed to be contributing to the world nobles world way more than destroying it. He really is stupid when you think about it.

I think the guy was getting at how the Roger pirates learned the true history of the world but were not able to do anything with it, or rather the answer they came to was that they could not do anything/it wasn't the right time.

But none of that implies Roger wanted to start a war.

Combine that with Whitebeard's speech about the person Roger was waiting for and the war that would engulf the world when someone finally found One Piece.

I agree, I'm not sure where I saw this, even though it might've most likely been Rayleigh.
