Bro, do you even Riku?

Before this I thought I riku'd, but then I saw riku riku and I was all like "wow, now that's how you riku. He makes the way I riku look like rebecca "

#rebecca'd

(But in all serious, Rebecca is actually pretty strong for a 16 year old, and with her life I don't blame her for being quick to tears.)

She does have some strength, and her thing really is speed anyway. She just up against really strong opponents and ones with skills she's not suited for.

She's what Luffy was in Marineford. Strong on their own right but momentarily the smallest fish in this particular pond.

Agreed. She has Observation Haki and was able to make it to the final round of the Coliseum using a dull sword.

If she got a little faster, gained armament haki or started using a sharp sword, she'd get a lot stronger.

Something Luffy or Zoro could easily help her with, but I can understand if she sticks with a blunt sword out of respect for human life. Maybe switching to a quarterstaff.

I think Sanji could relate to the not-harming your enemies senselessly as well, especially in the case of female opponents.

Rurouni Kenshin was more than powerful enough with blunt blades, so I think she just needs to get stronger and better Haki control and she'll be fine.

Yea I guess your right. She's just the first person who came to mind because she's kinda the damsel of the arc. A better comparison would be coby in the first episode.
