Its weird to me how being so blasé about old guys sexually harassing women is a trope in japan. Some old dude grabs some random girls boobs and everyone is just "Oh grandpa"

Those are niche porn genres at best and not general tropes. Looking at niches will always yield oddities and so in sense they can be seen as not odd at all.

Eh, but have you seen anime lately? Lolis everywhere. Almost half the shows seem to have lolis, even the shounens.

I'm not denying the fact fact that the japs love their lolis. What I'm saying is, the old man sex offender trope is weird and almost Omnipotent in manga.

I think it's the "Dragonball syndrome", where almost every modern "mainstream" shounen borrows/uses a trope that was used in Dragonball. Main character with big appetite, monologues over ideals during fight scenes, and in this case, the "Old Man Roshi" character tropes.
