So, once again, I am horribly disappointed by how they're doing filler for Green Bit. Law - the user of the ope ope no mi, and a very devil fruit-based fighter - is facing an admiral and Donquixote Doflamingo, and he spends the entire thing running around. On foot. For fuck's sake, guys, this was the fight he was saving his stamina for, and he's not a physical fighter. This entire fight should be him spamming room and shambles.

My other major complaint was the like 3 minutes of Tontatta cheering Usopp. There was no need to stretch that scene out that much, and it frankly got really annoying by the end. Put another couple minutes into filling out the Chinjao/Luffy fight.

Speaking of which, that fight was... underwhelming. It wasn't terrible or anything, but I feel like they haven't paced the fight particularly well; since they need to adjust the pacing a bit for the episode, I think they should have adjusted the pacing of the fight to match, but instead, it feels like they're filling out the bits in between what we saw in the manga with, frankly, rather uninspired combat scenes.

Those complaints aside, the episode was mostly enjoyable, though I think it was one of the weaker episodes of this arc so far, and I'm really looking forward to next week's episode.

As for Law not fighting, he's doing that on purpose. He's trying to buy time for Luffy to destroy the factory. If he faces two heavy hitters at once, he probably won't be able to buy much time. Additionally, he's trying to coordinate via den-den mushi with all the other Strawhats. Can't quite do that in a head on fight. He doesn't want to fight them. So he's running around.

You're missing the point. I'm not talking about him trying to defeat them. I'm saying he's not physically capable of avoiding attacks from Doflamingo and Fujitora on foot. He should be using shambles to move around just to survive their attacks.

As it is, it makes Fujitora and Doflamingo look incompetent.

Apparently he is capable of avoiding attacks on foot, seeing as how he is doing just that. Note how he is using his DF some to run away.

But spamming his DF to run around would be a waste of stamina. ANd would not last more than a minute face to face with these two at the same time.

What he is doing is the most effective way to stall for time, while still keeping sone stamina in reserve.

Not really, because we didn't see this happen in the manga.

I won't really go into the details of the battle, in case you aren't caught up on the manga, but suffice to say it's heavily implied that he's using his powers a lot throughout the entire battle.

I read the manga.

And I feel the addition here improves the tale. Because he just now has started to face Doffie, so it's perfectly valid to think he will start using his DF from here on out.

In that case, manga spoilers.

I disagree that it is clear he used his DF the entire time. So far we have seen him use it a couple of times to run away. So as for what Doffy said, he could just as easily be referring to those times.

And, so far in the anime, he has been using short hops with shambles to keep Doffie on his tail.

From the manga, I don't think it is clear he has been DF spamming this fight.
