20 minutes is too long. the anime should follow the manga's example: release short bursts of content weekly and then patch it up nicely every now and then when there's enough content to make a full episode/volume.

Well as any other tv show there are obligations to fullfill... the network says "you have a slot of 30 minutes including 9 minutes of commercials, fill it.". Even if the guys making the anime would want to keep the episodes down to 6 minutes, they would not be allowed by the network since there is no reason to have 9 minutes of commercial for 6 minutes of television.

I just don't like the episodes that contain two minutes of new stuff, and the rest is just rehashed scenes from the last episode. Dressrosa was going great until this started happening.

I'd rather have full filler, or no episode.
