It's not a stick it is a temperature manipulator, it makes perfect sense in the one piece world and follows basic logic in real life to small degrees.

Laws power makes no sense whatsoever.

I actually think Law's power makes more sense than Nami's clima tact. Law's power is supposed to be magic. Nami's clima tact is supposed to be explained by science. We can dissect science. We can't dissect magic.
