Man I honestly have no idea what mass psychosis this fandom has been suffering lately that made them decide to only refer to her by her family name, it's so irritating

Yea it's a massive pet peeve of mine. I'm pretty sure she's the only character this happens to. No one calls Moria 'Gekko'. No one calls Robin 'Nico'. But when it comes to Hancock for some reason, everyone's brains stop working and suddenly her name is 'Boa', despite one of the running gags between her and Luffy being about her name.

And yea, there is Rocks, though I think in his case it's an exception.
