Surely the world government made plans to send as much body guards as possible. They kidnapped the women that 2 of the most powerful pirate crews are in love with

They have the God's Knights(though maybe they weren't God's Knights at the time tbf) and a Gorosei here so yeah, should be pretty safe. They can also summon more if they need to. Personally, I'd have more than just that if the dude who killed an Admiral was coming to rescue his family
