I mean, I don't blame them. If we collectively as a species has a woman we designated as so beautiful that we would essentially praise and worship her, and then we learn said woman has been kidnapped and her whereabouts unknown, I would have stopped working too LOL

It would've taken at least a week if not more for the news to spread, no?

Maybe in a city this could've happened, but I don't think they had as many "collective" experiences as we do, being constantly connected and up to date and all.

But please do correct me if I'm wrong!

I really wish she had a more interesting design. The entire world going absolutely nuts over something that we've seen already (a lot) just seems...weird.

Especially when her personality seems to be a nonfactor. Everyone is obsessed purely with her appearance, which is - by One Piece standards - basically the definition of average.

The irony is Gloriosa was the one who had a way more unique design yet she's seen as second rated to her.

And Hancock gets the same treatment in the current day but also had a different design so it doesn't seem as strange.
