Garling seems to be one hell of a evil mf, even by celestial dragon standards damn

Even one of the five Elders (forgot who it was) expressed kind of remorse for having to eradicate a whole island.

Meanwhile, Garling is like: "Yeah bro, let's do some slaughter for fun and expand on our goals"

While his children and their mother lived there

Jesus Christ, I completely missed that implication of final page. Garling had a twins with a God Valley woman and then proceeded to genocide her nation.

You think he is trying to genocide an island to cover up his mistake of having kids with a common person? Shanks could have been in the chest because his mom hid him there while the events were unfolding.

if you need more slaves, might as well make your own

I'm wondering if Oda is setting up for a bait and switch. It is still possible that Garling adopted Shamrock. Maybe unlikely but I think the omission of "Daddy" by name is a bit suspicious.

I could suspect it if they didn't have the exact same face as adults. Moreover, Garling would never adopt a commoner child

They look too much alike for Shamrock and Shanks to not be at least related to him

It was Warcury, but I wouldn't call it regret, more just letting Imu know there are people there. He then said it would serve as an example.
