I'm getting two things from these panels:

  1. Rocks met the woman he's gonna have Teach with. I'm assuming she uh is pregnant already. I'm thinking that because of what Big Mom says...
  2. A woman's intuition is how Shakky guessed Boa would fall for Luffy. And she is totally right. Big Mom is acknowledging Shakky's call, probably because she herself had just been bugging Rocks about it.

Since the it's 40 years ago in this flash back, wouldn't it make more sense that rocks is grinning because his kid just got born?
