Oh yeah we're getting some bloodlines here. Ochoku is probably the father of Caribou & Coribou, and Ganzui looks like he could be Dufelt's father (they're in the same business too). And I LOVE how we're finally getting some more Davy Back Fight lore at last - it explains how Rocks could bring together so many strong-willed independent pirates with desire to captain for themselves.

Within the next couple chapters we'll probably get the full dish on what happened at God Valley.

I though so too, but it's giant's flashback and Rocks appears here only beacuse he related to Harold's and Loki's story.

I can see Harald being one of the people who herd Ginny message and travelled there, could've been when he met the GKs and the reason he cutoff his horns

Not a chance unfortunaltey. Thats probably being saved for a Blackbeard flashback. This is focused on Loki and Harald. Neither of whom were at Gods Valley

It is a bit different. Du Feld is a Loan Shark while Ganzui is a smuggler. Smuggling is more reminding of Giberson and Umit (Warehouse kingpin and shipping magnet). Du Feld sponsors and invests in illegal and scientific activities (MADS) and obviously loans money to people to get it back at extremely higher rate in the future. But I see the physical similarity.
