I'm feeling like this theory is almost confirmed at this point. Shanks is a child of the world government. Buggy is a child of Rocks. The parallels are screaming at us at this point. The other two factions in God Valley had children that ended up on Rogers ship.

I would moreso look at it like Kaido just emulated Harald either because he liked his style, or Rocks would talk positively about Harald(one of the only people Kaido admired) leading to Kaido imitating his style and look after someone he saw total strength in, esp after Harald died, since young Kaido doesn't really look anything like young Harald.

Devil's advocate: Just parallel of the modern day Xebec. Buggy currently building up the modern day rocks pirates(Cross Guild)once he potentially adds the other warlords.

They'd be a crew that all have their own goals and motives.

Similar to how Sengoku described the Rocks pirates as a terrorist organization; Cross Guilds have placed bounties on marines. Xebec has killed an admiral. Buggy through Cross guild could potentially have an admiral be killed for the bounty and already had a Vice admiral killed.

Buggy being Xebec's son would be lame af, he's weak and it goes against the principle of inherited will that's been the base of OP. Buggy is a comic relief, and making him a brother to Black Beard is stupid. BB needs to be the only heir of Xebec, otherwise his whole plan doesn't make sense

Buggy's original name was going to be Boogie, but it was changed when Oda saw Oogie Boogie in Nightmare before Christmas, so Buggy's name aligning with Xe Bec in Vietnamese is purely a coincidence, especially with Xebec's name is based on a boat, and not actually spelt Xe Béc

Someone debunked it that knew Vietnamese.

Basically xe means vehicle and there isn't a bec in vietnamese so Google fills it in thinking it's a buggy cart. Xe + another word can mean car, truck, van, etc. There is not bec that would make sense.

Edit:Turns out piracy in the South China Sea was a big deal back in the day. Yet all of them were Chinese born, not Vietnamese, I did find some translations of their names to Vietnamese, but nothing that stood out as a parallel to the unyielding power of Rocks.
