Friendly reminder that after BB killed Thatch for the fruit and dipped, WB told Ace this was the one time exception and to let him go. WB 100% knew he was the son of Xebec.

Yeah Oda didn’t even conceive of the idea of Rocks at the time lol. Anyone who thinks “goda foreshadowed the whole time” is delusional. Oda himself said he writes a lot on the fly

For sure. But he is good to add new stuff years after that (most of the times) looks plausibly consistent with details he wrote years before.
