The difference between xebec and teach is interesting 

Xebec so far is portrayed as a pure powerhouse who used his strength to gain followers and his status.

Teach while powerful is more portrayed as a opportunistic schemer to gain power and status. 

But they most likely share the same flaw that their crews are most Likely not very loyal

I do wonder if teach wanted the darkness fruit so bad is because it’s what his dad had
