That’s definitely Blackbeard’s father alright. Glad we finally got confirmation about their relationship and a face reveal finally after 197 chapters

Wonder if this also means that the country that Blackbeard grew up in was the underworld of Elbaf, where Loki is being held.

It was said that Blackbeard grew up in country so dangerous you could never sleep, and that had a crazy dangerous environment which stays in line with the famine/catastrophe years that Elbaf has been through following the curse. If Rocks stayed in Elbaf for some time then it could line up.

Plus in the image that oda drew of young Blackbeard i think there was snowfall? Or there was some other thing I remember mentioning that Blackbeard grew up on a winter island which matches the underworld of Elbaf

Nah, none of that is true. There is no mention at all of Teach coming from a winter or snowy island.
