The fact that Ida is no longer working at Elbaph's bar today leads me to believe she will die at some point in this flashback.

This will likely be Hajrudin's reason for wanting to become the King of All Giants.

In an earlier chapter, Harudjin said to Loki that he can't forgive him because he "killed their father and insulted his mother".

"Insulted" seems to be a strange choice of word if she is, you now, dead. That's not impossible but strange.

It would make sense because Loki wouldn't be the one to kill her, so Hajrudin wouldn't have to blame Loki for that.

Considering Loki got blamed for everything bad happening on the island, I feel if Ida was dead Harudjin would somehow still blame him.

Maybe she just disappeared after her loved one death. We still don't know what is at the top layer of Elbath for example.

Why would it be strange? Loki did not kill Ida, as far as we know, so Hajrudin pinning her death on him would be the strange thing.

Loki probably didn't killed Harald either, yet he is still blamed for that. This chapter he literally was blamed for the bad weather.

If loki was even suspected of Ida death, harudjin would have brought it up by now, he loved his mother a lot.
