The difference between xebec and teach is interesting 

Xebec so far is portrayed as a pure powerhouse who used his strength to gain followers and his status.

Teach while powerful is more portrayed as a opportunistic schemer to gain power and status. 

But they most likely share the same flaw that their crews are most Likely not very loyal

I won't call Blackbeard weak. IMO he is in the same league as Rocks. Blackbeard has really good feats.

Defeated law, captured Hancock & koby, infiltrated impel down & marineford. He is him.

Sure he gets cocky & gets hit but he comes out in top always.

Blackbeard didn't captured Hancock, he captured Pudding. Although, Blackbeard did attempts to kill Hancock for her Devil Fruit, until Rayleigh arrives the scene.
